Publisher Description

In Learn Rhythm Guitar: Volume 2, guitarists can learn many popular rhythmic styles, from groovy super funk to exotic Latin rhythms. In no time, you can learn how to play some of the most timeless rhythms created by some of music's greatest legends, including blues shuffles like Bo Diddley and reggae pop like Bob Marley!

In addition to the lessons, our talented host, Jen Trani, provides one-on-one practice tutorials, beginning at slower tempos for beginners and working her way up to medium and fast speeds for players who want to challenge themselves.

By the end of this course, you'll know how to strum with the best of them, find out which patterns work best with your skill level and which styles you can use to create your own music.

    Another Great Installment

Having used the Learn Guitar and Learn Rhythm Guitar: Volume 1, I was pleased with how the second volume builds on the concepts I learned from the other two books. The book packs a wealth of information on strumming techniques, and having both videos and graphical lessons was very helpful when I needed to review or practice. I was surprised with the variety of strums covered and haven't seen most of them from my private lessons so far. At a cost of much less than a private lesson, I feel I learned more than I could from a private teacher and in a short time. I definitely look forward to future installments.

    So much fun!

This, by far, was the most fun I have had with Mahalo and their work with Learn Guitar. While the other apps and books were good (and may I add necessary); this one really brought everything that I have learned so far, together, into something really fun. I felt like I really was a great guitar player and can finally show off some of the fun songs and techniques that I have learned over the last few months. It will definitely take some time for an individual to go over the book and really learn all of the pieces that Jen goes over, because there is definitely a lot that she covers; but the songs and techniques are great and brought everything together that I've learned so far!

    Learning so much!

The companion to Volume 1, this book continues building on the great foundation built in the first, and Jen continues to charm with her fun personality and wealth of knowledge.
