Individual learners' differences contribute to the achievement of a foreign/second language (L2) acquisition: age, sex, previous experience with language learning, proficiency in the notice language, personality factors, language aptitude, attitudes and motivation, general intelligence, sense modality preference, sociological preference, cognitive styles and learner strategies. In this article, the focus will be on the learners' motivation which teachers can actively address to increase the effectiveness of instruction. In terms of their implications for class teaching focused on, a certain number of strategies which teachers could apply to facilitate individual learners to achieve their objectives will be suggested in the article. 1.
