Cluster poems are a division of creative writing in poetry form. Starting with a random word which can originate from a thesaurus or your own mind. Then it is simply word association branching off from the original word. The idea is to be very loosely associated, it may not make sense to someone else but to you, it is triggering memories and stories.

My cluster poems began in 2010 as a form of creative expression and experimentation. I am a visual artist and was having a very long dry spell from being able to create traditional fine art. Thus, cluster poems were born. I was able to paint pictures using words. This book is for your own creative expression. You are encouraged to write in a journal to explore and experience your own creative process.. Sketching, writing or developing your own cluster poems is a freeing experience. Please use this book to develop your own creative voice and have fun!
