Leaves of Grass is Walt Whitman's masterwork — a massive, sprawling, all-encompassing celebration of life, emotion, nature, and culture. First published in 1855, but continually reworked and republished with new poems and edits for over three decades, Leaves of Grass is Walt Whitman's love song to the still young United States. This edition was his final, so-called "deathbed" edition, expanding his original 12 poems to nearly 400.
The Bookbyte Digital edition also includes images accompanying each "book" of poems, taken from old maps, classic paintings, and contemporary photographers.

The formatting would be very nice for some works, but not for Whitman. Whitman needs to use the whole page; he would use a page wider than normal if he could. The margins in this format are too big. And the small caps first lines are intrusive. They called this guy barbaric! This format makes him seem tame.
I give it 5 stars though, because it is far better than any ebook other of LoG, and because this is an essential text.
Im usually not a poetry guy,but this changed my mind, his work is great for his time .
Unless Whitman wrote his poems vertically, like this
I think something's wrong here.
