Leaving Cannibal Island

Tibetan scholar Thupten Yangtso was an old man by then, but still relatively hale and hearty for one of his ethnicity. The recent loss of Beta Hammond inevitably depressed his spirits, though in his tradition dying wasn't seen as a final parting; he rallied as best he could, knowing that he wouldn't be far behind. Perhaps they'd meet again in their next lives.
