pixeltarian ,

There is no better book on spiritual abuse.

If you have any experience with fundamentalism this book is a must-read. My favorite two concepts:

When you do anything good, God gets all the credit. When you fail, it's because you are evil snd God had nothing to do with it.

Christians are not taught real love. Love requires shared vulnerability. Christians are taught not to be vulnerable while looking to exploit vulnerability in others as an access point for conversion. No real closeness or empathy takes place.

This book will ease the pain of being ripped away from your childhood indoctrination and give advice on how to rebuild and serve life instead of death.
