Finding Beauty: The Art of Lee Godie by Intuit celebrates the life and art of Lee Godie (1908-1994), an artist who sold her work on the streets of Chicago. No one had to tell Godie that she was an artist. She announced it herself in 1968, when she was noticed selling paintings on the steps of the Art Institute of Chicago.
