Leonardo, Friends & Work

This tells us the story and life of Da Vinci with some of his friends and the work he did. It also talks about the genius he was and the help he got from others. It starts from end to finish. This is a Renaissance Florentine name. The name da Vinci is an indicator of birthplace, not a family name; this person is properly referred to by the given name Leonardo. Today, Leonardo is widely recognized as one of the most diversely talented individuals ever to have lived. He made substantial discoveries in anatomy, civil engineering, optics, and hydrodynamics, but he did not publish his findings and they had no direct influence on later science. Leonardo is revered for his technological ingenuity. He conceptualised flying machines, a type of armoured fighting vehicle, concentrated solar power, an adding machine, and the double hull, also outlining a rudimentary theory of plate tectonics.
