Leray World: Can Magic Kill‪?‬

Ever since they arrived in this land of magic, Danny and Taylor were assured of one specific rule regarding Leray magic. The energy all can tap into cannot be used to fatally harm or kill other individuals, intentional or accidental. If magic cannot kill, then the sport of Leray battles can maintain its ultimate popularity.



But it turns out this insurance might be one big lie. Maybe, the reason the external nations across the world despise Leray magic because it isn't safe to use after all. In their studies, Danny and Taylor learn about a forbidden format of energy known as Dark Magic, which is said to specifically have lethal attributes. Jane assures them that this dark magic is not so easily accessible, and that any mages who ever try it will be hunted down by the elite Leray Agency.



Based on concerning recent activities to the criminal underworld, believing that everything is okay is getting much harder. Given Jane's new injury caused by unidentified and scary magic, it becomes clear that magic is not as safe as the others led them to believe. Maybe Near was right; maybe nothing good will ever come out of this Leray magic business.



One particular question now remains on the minds of many: Can Leray magic be used to kill?
