I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is a read that will keep you guessing. What started out as finding the person responsible for abusing dogs (Ammo from the second book) and several more in this one, turned into so much more. I was kept guessing in several places. The author did a wonderful job of keeping the story flowing smoothly. There was never a part when it felt forced.
I adored Chuck and easily identified with Nita, the large hairdresser that has a slight confidence issue due to something her deceased husband did many years ago. Chuck was also a large man in both height and muscle. He was the perfect male foil for Nita. I just loved these two characters. This book was written in a dual POV format. Getting into the characters' thought-process really made them seems so human. I could really relate to them.
I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18. There are a couple of scenes that just are not suitable for a younger reader.
