Pithy thoughts. Essays. Strange photos. Snide remarks. This is the first volume of this; a book of my posts from various social media sites from 2008-2010. I hope you enjoy this. It’s been cheaper than therapy.
Let’s Pin It On a Drifter
I do a lot of reading. We’re talking books galore. And I know good writing when I see it. But until that time, I will be reading Jim Walker’s Pin It On a Drifter.
Let’s Pin It On A Drifter
A musician unfurls his comedic talent by recounting stories and making wry observations inspired by his Altman-esque California upbringing, through his current life in Oregon. Funny, insightful and apparently swear-to-god true. Absurdist humor in the way of Letterman or O'Brien, while achieving at times a poignancy in its illumination of American subcultures (and of himself) a la Joan Didion. Grab a double mai-tai, dive in, then may as well order another, because it’s hard to stop reading. A howling good time.
Let’s Just Pin It On A Drifter
Jim Walker, besides Paula’s engagement ring, your e-book is the best $8 I’ve ever spent. Well done.
