Let's Play Hangman

THE GAME NEVER ENDS. IT ONLY CHANGES PLAYERS.

Six men broke into Colleen Ferguson's house expecting an easy score. They found something far worse: an eight-foot demon called the Hangman, and a game with rules written in blood.

Round by round, they played. Letter by letter, they died. Until only one remained.

Danny thought he'd won. He survived the Hangman's game. He outlasted five other men. He was ready to walk free.

Then Colleen smiled.

"You've won," she whispered, tracing a finger along his cheek. "And you've lost. Unless..."

Unless he could guess her name. One chance. One guess. One final letter to save himself.

He looked at her hands. At the pale mark on her ring finger. At the empty space where a wedding band should be.

Mrs. Hangman.

The demon burned. Colleen vanished. Danny stumbled into the dawn, free at last.

But freedom has a price.

Because somewhere, in a house at the end of a dead-end street, a beautiful redhead waits for new players. And Danny? He's holding the rope now.
