A compelling piece of literature.

I was required to read Anna Deavere Smith’s novel for my Acting I Class at Millikin University. Once I began reading it, I could not put it down. I finished the book in a day! I feel like this is a book for people that are having a spiritual awakening, but honestly anyone could read it. This book was so wonderful because she addresses different people from all over the world. It made me realize that although we do not have the same upbringing or the same mindset, we are not as different as we think. Bravo to Anna for being able to connect to so many kinds of artists on an intellectual level. I highly recommend this book.
