Vic Bowering, a witty and irrepressible aspiring actress, takes a temporary break from her pursuit of stardom on the New York stage to work as a bartender at McAleer's Pub. Little does she know, she's replacing the previous bartender who's now permanently dead. As strange occurrences begin to pile up at the bar, in her apartment, and even in her love life, Vic can't help but dive headfirst into the mystery.
