In 2011, HomeWorld Security Agent David Forte disappeared.

Lucy Santos, like most everyone, has stumbled into a new existence. She uses what medical training she has to help care for others in a community called Unity Valley. But when Xeno attacks increase, President Tanner sends Firebirds to help.

Among them is David Forte, a man who says things she doesn’t understand and wears a prosthetic mechanism to move. He’s in pain, but she suspects the pain is more than just because of his broken body.

In finding lost family, David finds a new chance. Lucy Santos helps heal his body, his heart, and his soul. A man who shouldn’t be alive may hold the knowledge and key to making sure Humankind lives. If he can figure it out in time.
