Libya and Mali Operations

This paper analyzes the key stages of the recent military operations in Libya and Mali, and highlights the lessons learned for the future of transatlantic security cooperation. The author examines to what extent these operations can be used as models for future coordinated missions, and questions the sustainability of this strategy while European powers continue to reduce their military spending.
