Appellant Raymond Harris appeals the order of the Montana First Judicial District Court, Lewis & Clark County, affirming the Cascade County Superintendent of Schools, the State Superintendent of Public Instructions and the Board of Trustees of Cascade County School District No. 6 & Fs (the Board) decision to dismiss Harris, a tenured teacher, due to a reduction in force. Harris (the Teacher) claims that the Board failed to follow the required statutory procedure when they terminated him Respondent Board appeals the same order affirming the decision requiring the school district to reinstate the Teacher in the half-time teaching position that replaced his former full-time position. We affirm the decision of the District Court but on narrow grounds particular to this case
