The John C. Liedecker Institute has just opened its doors to its superpowered student body and the first semester starts right here! Spinning off from the web serial The Descendants, meet a cast of new faces with new powers as they navigate high school—from cliques to bullies—with a comic book twist.

Meet Kura Akagi, a prankster whose powers seem limited only by her imagination; Alice, a foundling from a mysterious project meant to harness her powerful mind and heat-generating powers; Phil, a normal guy who just happens to have access to an inter-dimensional storage space; Tammy, who has to hide the fact that her older brother is really the superhero Alloy; and a host of new friends and foes. Together and separately, they're going to make the most of their first year at the Institute.
