“[Zhena] Muzyka’s charisma leaps off the pages of this unconventional, touching, and personal guide to success” (Publishers Weekly), featuring seventeen soulful lessons and simple rituals for finding your life’s purpose, improving your relationships, and becoming healthier—all in the time it takes to drink a cup of tea.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Muzyka's charisma leaps off the pages of this unconventional, touching, and personal guide to success. Her son was born with a kidney disease that threatened his life and left Muzyka deep in debt after paying his surgery bills. Using her family's Gypsy teachings and her talent for crafting tea blends, she built Zhena's Gypsy Tea into a multimillion-dollar company. Her message about building a socially conscious tea business combine lessons from her bootstrap entrepreneurship (holding a "friends-and-family branding party") with self-improvement techniques such as meditation, reciting daily prayers, or keeping a journal. In a business memoir that recounts the origins of her original tea cart, her first visit to Sri Lankan tea fields, and her panic over a big purchase order, the author means for each chapter to be "read in the time it took to have a cup of tea." Just as she infuses her tea with meaning and passion, Muzyka's authenticity, artistry, and innate business sense make for a potent blend.

Inspiring and Uplifting
This book is an amazingly soulful story of someone that did not let life's hardships deter them from creating a safer and better world for themselves and others! The authors writing is incredibly passionate and inspiring, taking you on a journey while making you think about your own journey. I loved this book, it was empowering and uplifting!
Simply amazing
I love this book. If books carry emotion, this one reached out and inspired my heart deeply. Zhena's story, her sons illness, her approach to meeting life's challenges, the grace and gratitude, the lessons her forced herself to learn and the path of a being a teacher and servant to everyone from the tea puckers to their children to a stranger on the plane she takes time to love is astonishing. You will open this book, be transported into her heart, find yours and hope, and leave this book a better person.
Exceptional
I absolutely love the idea for book... inspiration and life lessons "by the cup"... chapters "short enough to sip." Through her personal experiences, Zhena Muzyka shares with us plenty of wisdom, and her strength and passion can touch anyone. Something I loved about Life by the Cup is Muzyka's writing style: it is all beautifully, eloquently written, yet I, as a reader, was able to connect with her so easily. A lot of self-help books out there try to inspire readers by doing something similar, but Muzyka really takes it to a new level. Besides sharing with us her hardships, her happiness, and everything in between, she also gives us tools that can help us, in the form of quotes, exercises, and lessons. This is a book that can benefit anyone--whether you are just in search of a story, or in search of some needed inspiration.
