Life Is Only A Dream

The play is extremely funny with touches of tragedy at several places and powerful dealing with a false-brave man, Mr. Alfred, showing stubbornness as a mule but who is in the end mastered by members of his own family — his wife Mrs. Anna and his children — Rose and Tony, playing the mules the more obstinate than him in turn to get what they want!

From act to act and from scene to scene, the unwinding of the subject takes a turn at times strange and at times comic or tragic but deep family bonds are at work behind the curtains!

From secret to secret, from revelation to revelation and from action to action bring bitter temporary rancour and later the never-ending unity among kinsfolks to end with the acceptation of the marriage of Rose with Alex and that of Tony with Mylène by Mr. Alfred.
