Josie is recently divorced from her cheating husband. She has moved to a new town with her daughter Emma. She doesn’t want to have to depend on a man again! Then she gets hit by a truck driven by a man - Nate. Nate is going to help her while she recuperates. Someone has to help with Emma. He is an alpha male, security specialist, hunky, sweet, caring - sounds almost too good to be true - but he really is that good. Will Josie let him work his way in to her life. He knows she is the one for him, but she is not ready to admit it. She gets them involved in some drama, danger and suspense. There are some twists and turns, and bumps along the way but it is also an entertaining read - funny, sweet, spicy, sexy. The characters are likable/lovable and Emma will melt your heart,

This cute, sexy romance between Nate, Josie and adorable Emma was written in an upbeat, humorous and quirky style that was fun to read and easy to follow.
Their hilarious meet cute combined with Josie’s POV was just the get-away-read I was looking for.
Feel good Romance with lots of alpha male backup and family-like feels. Emma was the icing on the top to this sweetly romantic read!

Excitement in Pelican Bay
Nate ran into Josie with his truck when she was trying to get her daughter because she ran from her, but he also wanted to ask Josie out for a date. He worked at a security office and helped them after the accident and she started liking him. Then the women that hung out with his fellow guards did something and they had some excitement and the guys saved the day so to speak! A great book!
