Liskey's Lament

After arriving on an idyllic planet to assume a solo post as an observer, Robert Liskey hopes his new job will give him the peace he needs to write a masterpiece. So he's far from happy when a defective spaceship leaves his predecessor, a hunky but abrasive mute named Venner, stranded there with him.

Liskey doesn't know the two of them are about to embark on a torrid affair, a union characterized by lovemaking more intense than he'd ever thought possible. Neither does he know his new home isn't the safe paradise it appears to be. As their relationship blossoms, a terrible catastrophe looms large on the horizon, a disaster so devastating it will either tear the two lovers apart or destroy them both.
