Literary Devices - Grades 5,6,7,8

All of our Language Arts content meets the Common Core State Standards and are written to Bloom's Taxonomy. Follow a basic understanding of reading with a detailed look at characterization, setting, plot, theme, point of view, foreshadowing, flashback, symbolism and irony. Learn how graphic organizers can help students to examine the meaning and purpose of different types of literature. In all 6 chapters we include 7 Read Along reading passages with voice over, 17 graphic organizers, 32 vocabulary words with definitions, 27 pre-assessment questions, and 50 comprehension questions.
