Quinn and her mother, Liz, believe that Lucy may be Nora's daughter; Quinn doesn't have any idea why Nora seemingly abandoned the little girl. Baart slowly reveals the circumstances that caused to Nora bring Lucy to Quinn's home while simultaneously shedding light on past indiscretions within the Sanford family that have remained hidden for years. It took a while but the end was worth it
I honestly wasn’t sure with the various characters where this book would lead. But once I hit the ending it all fell into place. Great ending! I will say you have to hang in there. There were a few chapters I wasn’t sure of the importance until the end.
