LittleHandsHelping strives to give children the gift of giving.

Someone once said that our privileges are not for our pleasure but for our purpose. Our goal is to help children discover the joy of making a difference in their world by using their own unique gifts and talents. We believe that even if children are still young with “little hands” they can impact the world for the better. It is our task as the prominent adults in their lives to create the platform and opportunities for them to do just that.

We want to provide parents and caregivers with practical ideas of how to develop and grow compassion in their children.

Compassion is more than mere sympathy with the issues that face our world. Compassion is empathy with work boots on. Compassion refuses to stand oblivious, but gets involved by searching, providing, and becoming part of the solutions.

Making a difference does not always imply spending more money or hours of our time. It starts with the attitude of being a force for good right where you are planted. It can be as simple or hard as inviting a lonely peer to play at the playground or as elaborate as driving a fundraiser for a cause your child feels passionate about.
