Liturgies For The Pilgrim

This book was full of great and applicable prayers. It was so helpful and encouraging while on the Camino.

This book of liturgies may specifically be for the Camino de Santiago, but it would be a helpful tool in everyday life. For the Camino, it is a necessary resource. The author includes liturgies on a wide variety of topics many of them specifically focused on experiences one may have as they walk the Camino.
I loved the practicality of so many of these liturgies. It is incredibly helpful to have these short liturgies to help one process the moments of their day. Many of the topics in this book seem small on the surface, but as I read the liturgy, it helped me see just how important that moment really was. It turned my eyes towards God and made me think more about how He may desire to use this "small" moment,
I am planning to do the Camino again in June, and I already know that this will be an invaluable resource for me as I walk. If you are doing the Camino, I highly recommend this book as a resource to bring with you. There is so much to process as you walk the Camino, and a book like this is incredibly helpful to keep your eyes focused on God. Even if you don't know what the Camino is, I still believe this book would be helpful in your everyday life.

I'm thankful for these helpful prayers while I walked the Camino de Santiago. Seth helpfully captures words for prayer in situations when words are at a loss, such as when the hills seem to go on forever or when your morning steps hurt. I found myself praying these more and more as the days of my pilgrimage wore on; however, they translate very well to everyday life and fit many of the difficulties and blessings that fill our daily journeys as well. Thankful!
