Golden blood runs through Grace’s veins. Fleeing from the complications this discovery brings, she falls through a portal into a different world. There she meets Kini, who teaches her the connection between golden blood and magic. While there, Grace learns about a series of violent murders occurring. A human man is not only committing these murders, he is planning a war between humans and the people with golden blood. Kini's solution: to kill this human before he can complete his mission.
