Live Linux, Which One

This booklet is dedicated above all to those who have only heard of LINUX and would like to "see how it runs", but also to those who do not mind "putting their hands" on a keyboard to write some commands manually from the terminal. We will cover all the steps I followed to switch in a simple and easy way from Windows to Linux, limiting myself to those systems that run only on USB sticks and/or on not recent computers.
This led me to examine the most common distributions trying to find out if there is a system that is easy to manage and quite complete in terms of the number of applications.
In this book we will see that there are simple distributions, perhaps too much, others more complete, but also less easy to manage, others definitely to be abandoned in view of the simplicity and completeness of the applications.
