Very short story!
I loved that in the few short pages of the book, I felt like I was sitting down talking with my Grandma. It was slightly funny and sweet. I was sad that it ended so quickly!
Unique story - refreshing!
This book was a serious page-turner. I'm SO glad that Laney was courageous enough to talk to her "bad boy" neighbor and accept him without criticizing him. Their unique relationship was a totally new way of developing characters...and I have read a TON of Christian novels. I love Laney's devotion to her great aunts and how I felt the generational love flowing.
Thanks for a very good Thanksgiving day read.
I want more
I love the story. Interesting characters. I want to know more about their lives and what happens next. Good start to draw me in.
