Positive Thoughts
Reading this book further educated me on how autism is treated around the world. I work as a behavior therapist in the United States for young children with autism. I’m glad children and families are getting more access and help and we’re getting more knowledge and education about ASD.
Fancy Words to disguise Ableism
Makes it seem like different neurotypes are an inherently bad thing. As though being autistic is somehow inferior to being neurotypical instead of simply a different category of human experience. Surprise, surprise; no two human beings experience life the exact same way and trying to say that one form of neurotype is inherently more valuable is about as ableist as you can get.
