A great example of "Show, not Tell."
The plot can hardly be called unique: A shut-in gamer gets transported to the world of the game they're playing, and figures out how to survive. Log Horizon shines not in the story itself, but in HOW it tells the story. The dialogue is dynamic, the combat is brilliantly done, and it's inspiring to read how the "Michevelli-with-glasses" thinks in a pinch. You won't regret this read.
