UNDERSTAND, not just LEARN
That is the motto of the book series "Graphically Enhanced Manuals" (GEM). They're a new type of manual with a visual approach that helps you UNDERSTAND a program, not just LEARN it. No need to read through 500 pages of dry text explanations. Rich graphics and diagrams help you to get that "aha" effect and make it easy to comprehend difficult concepts. The Graphically Enhanced Manuals help you master a program much faster with a much deeper understanding of concepts, features and workflows in a very intuitive way that is easy to understand
Logic Pro X Tips, Tricks, Secrets #2
These GEM books are the way to go. I call them GEM, too - Great Educational Method! Pictures is how I learn best, and I’m not ashamed to say so.
Keep up the great work, Edgar. Thank you very much!
A must have Part2
As I said in the other review. I have all of the GEM books for Logic and now also these two Tips and Tricks books. Exceptional quality, in-depth explanation and exquisite graphics.
I still haven't seen anything similar in any other publications.
Still my number one choice when it comes to buying manuals.
After 1, I needed 2 too
After reading the first tips&tricks book, I didn't think there was much more, but sure there is. Almost every tip, I can incorporate into my Logic workflow.
Super book, highly recommended.
