Lonesome Dove is one of the few books that I can heartily recommend to almost anyone. It's a real page turner, full of characters you'll soon wish you knew in real life...and a few you'll be glad you don't. This book is at the top of my list. Enjoy!
This book is a real page turner. Even if you don't care for westerns you will enjoy this book, the characters are timeless and the story is impeccable. The author is a genius and I will continue to follow the lonesome dove saga more than once
