He's the right wolf at the wrong time…
Connie Lucero has just turned eighteen and is looking forward to escaping her small-town, going to college in the big city, traveling the world, and having adventures. When she meets her fated mate at a party, she knows she had no choice but to reject him before she ends up mated and pregnant.
Andy Galina moved to the shifter town of Greysden for a new job, but it's not long before his wolf locks onto the beautiful younger woman they're meant to be with forever. He's stunned when Connie tells him she has no interest in being his mate. He knows that his independent mate needs some time to find herself and make her own way in the world, but his wolf has other ideas.
Can their love survive a long separation?
"Long Distance Wolf" is a prequel short story that's part of the "Bite-Sized Shifters" paranormal romantic comedy series. Each book in the series is standalone that can be read in a few hours and features a mature couple, steamy scenes, a lot of fur and claws, and a guaranteed HEA.
Long Distance Wolf
I just read the last book in this series and decided that I wanted to read this one as well. It is a VERY short story so it doesn't take long to read. I was intrigued with this couple as I had already read Connie's sister's story and knew that Connie played a minor role in it. Besides Connie is my name as well.
Connie dreams of adventure, life in the big city (away from her small home-town) and meeting new people now that she has graduated high school. Unfortunately before she leaves town, she meets her fated mate, Tony! Tony is a true male alpha wolf! He is so sure of himself and the fated mate bond that he acts very cocky. Tony is young as well as he just graduated from college.
After Connie rejects her mate, they decide to become friends while Connie attends college in Denver. Will Connie and Tony finally come together after she graduates?
This was written in a dual POV format. This is a clean romance with just a few kissing scenes.
