Long Time No See
What an intelligently written book! I loved the level of writing, the sophisticated vocabulary,and the intricate mystery. A middle aged widowed university history professor who loves a married police detective and who charms a mafia boss whose daughter-in-law turns up dead into “researching” her death for no pay…well,
I had a hard time putting down this book down. I will read more of this author!
Long Time No See
I usually enjoy this author’s books. This was a disjointed story filled with an abundance of
“ overly worded” sentences. The characters were all a “mess” , uninteresting and self involved. Susan Isaacs is a skilled storyteller and this book missed the mark!
