LORD, SHOW ME

There are things God knows that we do not know, things God sees that we cannot see, and dimensions of His purposes that we cannot understand without His revelation.

Moses asked to know God's ways. David asked to be shown the path of life and the measure of his days. Job asked to see what he could not see. Elisha prayed for the eyes of his servant to be opened. And Philip, on the night before the cross, asked the question that gathers up all the others: "Lord, shew us the Father."

In Lord, Show Me!, Bishop Osei Tweneboah Koduah walks through fourteen prayers of Scripture in which God's people looked beyond their own limits and asked to be shown. Each chapter studies the passage in its own setting, draws out its meaning for the believer, and closes with an expanded prayer, prayer points, and reflection questions.

Inside you will discover how to:

• Move from witnessing God's acts to knowing His ways

• Seek His direction, His wisdom, and His purpose for your life

• Pray for correction, self-examination, and eyes that see

• Receive God's mercy, deliverance, and encouragement

• Number your days and use them for His glory

• Test every claim of revelation against Scripture and Christ

Revelation is never given merely to inform us. It is given to transform us. Come to this book as a student and as a suppliant, and pray with an open heart: "That which I see not teach thou me."
