Started slow but was a great end
It started off a little slow for me. I was almost about to give up on it but I’m glad that I kept going. The middle to the end was a lot better with the end being the best part to me. If you are into the details of the details then this is for you. Otherwise I think that one has to have the patience to last to the good part. The end was so good that it makes me want to read the next book.
Plot twist
I loved the story! I did not see the plot twist coming. My heart went from confused to broken and it ends mid story!
Steady beautiful romance!
I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the deliberate slowness of the building relationships between the characters. Too often we are force-fed unrealistic ideals in our sources of entertainment. Deep connections are forged over time - I am delighted to see a book model this AND center it around fantasy and magic :)
