Wyn and Lorran are sweet and hot
However, this is almost a background for the meat of the book, which is the rescue mission of Lorran and Mylomon to a distress signal in uninhabited space. The mysterious group of “researchers” and the frightening proximity of enemy Suhlik create a war-story/espionage thriller with bittersweet overtones that mesmerized me even more than the romance. I liked this book a lot, and despite HEA for the H and h, I’m really focused on the next book and the continuing Suhlik conflict.
