Such a beautiful story, a definite page turner, very emotional in parts. So well written, I old not put down. TY

While this is a part of a series, you don't have to read the prior ones to understand the story of this couple. The other daughters of the president do make multiple appearance though. I really feel that the entire series should be read to understand and appreciate the dynamics of the entire family.

This is written in a multiple POV format. That really helps me to understand, identify and connect to characters so much better.

In the prior book, we discovered that the former president had a summer affair with a woman prior to meeting his wife. Unbeknownst to him (Jim), when she turned down his proposal and broke up with him, she was pregnant. She never told Jim or her daughter about the other. Upon her death, a letter is given to Bianca Lucchese (her daughter) explaining that who her father is and how he didn't know of her existence.

Bianca is married to Joe. The couple have been married for 20 years. After years of pressure from both mothers, Joe needs a break and volunteers to go to Africa to vaccinate the wildlife there. While he is away from his family, he is captured by poachers and beaten. Bianca suffers through several tragedies at home as well. In a moment of weakness, she betrays her vows.

Will Joe manage to get away from his captures? If he does and manages to get home, will he be able to forgive Bianca for her mistake? How will she and the president's family manage to overcome the years of Bianca being lost to the family?

This is a sexy read so just a word of caution.
