Join single mom Betsy Holmes as she embraces her new role of amateur sleuth and works to solve a three-year-old mystery. 


Betsy Holmes doesn't think her day can get much worse after her overbearing mother Claudia moves in uninvited. But before long Claudia drops a bomb that rocks Betsy to her core: Betsy's father wasn't alone the night of his fatal car accident three years ago. 


Claudia's confession sends Betsy's mind reeling with questions. Who else was in the car that night? Why did they flee the scene? And, most importantly, was Betsy's father actually the victim of a murder? 


Betsy already has her hands full juggling custody of her two rebellious teenage daughters with her ex-husband, carving out alone time with her new boyfriend, and, now, restraining herself from killing her own mother. Does she really want to spend her free time investigating this mystery? Then again, what choice does she have? 


Unfortunately for Betsy, the longer she plays detective, the more she realizes nothing about that fateful night is as it seems. And pretty soon she uncovers some disturbing family secrets that just might change her life forever.
