Louisiana: Eroding Treasures

Land is not the only thing eroding in South Louisiana. Lives and centuries of cultures are threatened. Hurricanes Katrina and Rita damage in Terrebonne Parish are briefly covered with illustrations. The Cajuns, and Houmas Indians histories in this area are also discussed with photos of several locals. The remaining portions of this book are scenic and wildlife photos of the area, with captions. An excellent book for someone wanting to know more about these unique people and their environment.
