Heartfelt thanks for this book
I’ve only ever been moved to tears or this emotional about this type of book. I’m cautious to say anyone will feel that reading it, but it was one that I related to because of my own similar (almost exact) relationship I had with my own mother. Iris and my mom could’ve been twins. This book is well written and describes the beautiful parts of the south that I remember and the love story and characters are drawn together very well. As an artist I also know what it’s like to only put what I can’t explain onto canvas. Enjoy this book! ..Castaway54
