A Fun, Easy Read
Enjoy this series, and this one was a pleasure
Oh my my my, ok. If there was ever a character that needed his story told it was Charlie. I remember reading scenes from A Thousand Letters, and wishing we would get his HEA. Staci granted that wish, went above and beyond to deliver one of my favorite love stories of the year.
Admittedly, going into this book I already had a soft spot for Charlie. He was this hard working father with a big heart. Unfortunately he’s been trampled on and has got some serious issues to work out. Throughout the book he’s coming to multiple realization about life, fatherhood and love that have him rather shaken. His fears about his ability to step up and be father his children need, completely resonated with me. He needed someone to heal him.
Hannah could not have been a more perfect heroine for this story. She just had this soft spoken beauty about her. She stepped into this caregiving/nurturing role and filled in the cracks of this broken family. It was so easy for these two to fall into each other. Their connection had this insanely passionate quality that I could not get enough of. The heated moments between these two make for some fervid sex scenes, and swoon worthy declarations.
The lyrical and beautiful power that Hart pours into the pages of her stories makes reading this book absolutely effortless. It’s definitely the type of story that you’ll read in a single sitting. Charlie and Hannah’s story was so heartfelt. I could not have asked for a more perfect romance.
