Cosy up on the sofa with this year’s most heartwarming, feel good comfort read!
Welcome to Love Heart Lane…
When Flick Simons returns to the cosy village of Heartcross she only expected to stay for a few days. The white-washed cottages of Love Heart Lane might be her home, but the place holds too many painful memories, and of one man in particular – Fergus Campbell.
When a winter storm sweeps in, the only bridge connecting the village to the main land is swept away. As the villagers pull together, Flick finds herself welcomed back by the friends she once left behind. And as the snow begins to melt, maybe there is a chance that Fergus’s heart will thaw too…

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Some books are designed to feel like a comforting embrace of a loved one. Love Heart Lane is one such book. Here, we meet Flick Simmons seeking solace in her home village of Heartcross for a few days. While she loves the chocolate-box cottages and isolated peace and quiet, she can’t ever stay for too long. Why? Fergus Campbell is why. However, disaster strikes when the sole bridge connecting the village to the mainland is hit by a freak winter storm. Christine Barlow does a lovely, deft job in having Fergus and Flick’s long-frosty relationship slowly thaw as the villagers find community spirit in surviving the storm.
I love becoming immersed in a series that follows a family or a group of people!
I am hooked and looking forward to watching this community grow over the years.
Beautifully written as if you were right the in the village with them.
