They should be over each other.
For two years, Olivia has served her ex-husband coffee at the diner where she works, and waited for her heart to catch up to her brain. Because they were divorced now, and for good reasons. He wasn’t ever going to change. He’d always be a cop first, a soldier second, and a husband third, when there was time.
Rafe didn’t believe in love at first sight until he met Olivia, and then he was a goner. They’d been too young, too reckless, but that hadn’t stopped him from bringing her home to Pine Harbour, where there was nothing for her to do while he saved the world.
Then it all fell apart. And now…
He never stopped loving his wife, but he let her go when it became clear he wasn’t what she needed.
She deserves more than a part-time lover who once broke her heart.
Rafe wants a second chance to prove he can be the man she wanted when they fell in love.
And Olivia still wants Rafe despite all the excellent reasons why she shouldn’t.
They should be over each other…but they aren’t.

Zoe York does it again!
I was lucky enough to read this book before the release date. The story of Rafe and Liv is a story of second chances. Rafe marries Live and moves her to his hometown and then spends their the first years of their marriage working as a cop and solider. As a military wife I could relate to Liv and Rafe's predicament. Like all of Zoe York's books the story and characters are captivating. This is a must read and the first book in the Wardham series.
Not a Small Love
Rafe and Liv have been divorced for two years but neither has moved on. Passion and attraction were never an issue but having priorities in order were. Liv always came in third to Rafe—after his being a cop and soldier. The fact that his mother also seemed to disapprove of her and was always in their business did t help. But it was Rafe who asked if she wanted a divorce so she said yes. They’ve been walking in circles around each other ever since, until the morning he comes into her diner with a girl wearing one of his shirts. Now Liv decides its time to move on and out of town. And Rafe finally decides that he needs to do whatever it takes to get his wife back. Hot, swoony times ahead.
Enjoyed the tale of loves journey
It was well written, first part I was angry at the couples immaturity.
As they grew and woke up to some truths the story sucked me in and I kept on reading it in one day.
