Publisher Description
Luke Thompson, The Fury's lead singer, is ready for his own redemption tour. He almost destroyed his band because of a broken heart, and thanks to his actions, they've been kicked off their label. But Luke has always been a fighter, and he has a plan to save his band and win back the only woman he's ever loved.
Audrey Pierce makes her living dressing rock stars, and is devoted to taking her brand to the next level. When Luke blows back into her life with an offer to help her do just that, by designing for the band's newly formed label, she can't turn him down. She walked away from him once because she didn't think he'd stick around, but maybe it's time to take a chance and trust.
As they work together, old feelings return, sharper and sweeter than ever. But while Luke tries to be all things to all people--his fans, bandmates, and Audrey, juggling all of the demands leads to dropping the ball on more than one occasion. And navigating the rocky road of dating a rock superstar, Audrey isn't prepared for the level of scrutiy and attention that comes from dating someone so involved with his fans. Will their second chance at love end on a sour note?

Second chance rocker's love story
I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.
This novel starts off with the briefest glimpse into the story of book #1 in the series. So if you haven't read book #1, you will not be "behind" because Susan gives you enough to "fill you in" without you being lost. That was a huge plus for me as I had not started this series yet.
I loved this book! Although I wouldn't classify it as romantic suspense, it did have a mystery or crime to be solved. This novel tackled an issue we see almost daily in real life--bullying. Bullying with the twist of a famous rock star added into the mix. There was jealousy, bullying, and second chance at love.
Luke, singer of The Fury, finds out the girl he let walk away, is now unattached. Luke nearly destroyed his band when he "lost" Audrey to another man. The Fury even lost the backing of their record label. Audrey decided she couldn't and wouldn't date another rock star--EVER! She was tired of being "second or third" in a rockers life, so she told Luke no.....Audrey decided a "suit" was what she needed, but not what she ended up wanting. In walks Luke and he's decided he's not taking no for an answer this time around.
So as not to spoil the ending, I'll say it does end in a HEA and is NOT a cliffhanger. There is a little twist at the end that was surprising, but added a lot to the story! I highly recommend this novel!
