Free short but read in timeline order!
Lover’s Knot is a free Dory novella set after Fury’s Kiss. The mental wall between Dory and Dorina is down but their communication is still lacking. So when Louis-Cesare disappears Dorina starts sending Dory memories to help her understand what’s happening. Only it all happens so fast and with very little context it’s hard to figure out the warning.
This is a fantastic, fast-paced story that gives us more insight into Mircea’s early life as a vampire and more time with Radu and Kit Marlowe, two of my favorite vamps. We also learn about more enemies in the ever-growing war. This is a must read as it adds quite a bit to the overall story arc, just be sure to read it in order or there will be spoilers.

Chance never disappoints! Whether it’s a full length novel, or a short traipse through her world, there’s always plenty of humor and excitement to make the journey more than worthwhile!!
A good romp
Nice continuation of Dory’s adventures! Fight scenes were good.
