Unrealistic friendships
If I had best friends like these women I’d be better off without friends. I can’t fathom why it’s believable they’d want their friend to stay with someone who cheats and argue that it’s ok if the relationship wasn’t defined as exclusive. The pact to date for a minimum of three months should’ve been voided as soon as the main character was unhappy and it was a legitimate reason as she had given time and effort toward the relationship. The ending was also contradictory to the close friendship. Why would a woman choose to have a surprise wedding when it’s a happy moment most would want to share in planning with others who helped in finding her partner?
