Work Vacation?
Fantastic setting in St John island. Love the characters in the series. Such a wonderful southern family vibe. A private investigators work never seems to be done, even on vacation. This family seems to gravitate towards trouble. Loved the book stayed up late to finish reading it, even though I was behind on my Christmas chores.
Talbot Family Vacay So Fun
So happy to have the chance to read the 11th Lowcountry offering by Susan Boyer. This one was fun and differed in location. Rather than being on Stella Maris, the usual fictional locale just off the coast of Charleston. This book took place on St. John’s, US Virgin Islands. I loved the variety this brought. Liz and Nate had the whole family there. For once Momma was the one that got them in the middle of a mess. I love this family! Thank you to Susan for allowing me to read an ARC of one of my favorite series.
INVESTIGATIONS EVEN ON VACATION!
Susan M. Boyer’s Liz Talbot Mystery Series is one of my favorites! In Lowcountry Getaway, (Book 11), join Liz, Nate, and her whole family in the U.S. Virgin Islands for what is supposed to be a relaxing, peaceful Christmas. However, that peaceful existence disappears quickly as several criminal operations are uncovered requiring investigations even on vacation. Boyer brings readers a fun, entertaining, and engaging plot, a cast of characters that we have grown to love, new characters that add drama, danger, destruction, and death in their wake, and reveals the biggest secret of all regarding Nate’s inheritance. This is a must-read for fans of the Liz Talbot Mystery Series!
