Author Ashley Farley takes readers back to the Lowcountry of Palmetto Island, South Carolina and they are in for a dynamic visit! Farley has quickly become a welcome voice Women’s Fiction. While her stories are set in the South, they definitely are written in a way that is inclusive for women regardless of whatever region you may reside. Farley’s books are written about women for women. She writes about the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful of mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, best friends and mortal enemies since time began relationships. She writes books that entertain, make you think and touch your heart. LOWCOUNTRY ON MY MIND (a Palmetto Island Novel Book #3) finds best friends Max and Birdie still living life to the fullest each and every day. Readers are introduced to their long, lost other best friend from high school whom they really haven’t seen much of since graduation. Amelia is in town because her Mother has passed. Birdie and Max are looking forward to getting reacquainted with their friend. What Birdie and Max don’t know is that Amelia is also on the run and has been harboring a dark secret for many years. Unfortunately, the husband everyone thinks is so wonderful is far from it and she has been working on an elaborate scheme to escape from him for quite some time. Each of these three women finds themselves in some type of type of serious trouble and once again realizes the importance of being surrounded by the love and strength of her friends. This is my favorite book in this Series. Farley has created lots of excitement, suspense and romance surrounding her characters. Her writing is so on point and keeps your attention so that you find yourself totally engrossed in her plot and before you know it, you’ve read half of the book! So then there’s nothing to do but finish it all in the same day! It really is THAT GOOD. Farley makes her characters and their situations seem so real that you feel as though you are there in the room with them, actively participating in the drama.
